As this time of the year always gets so busy, I thought I would take a moment and wish everyone a blessed holiday season.
Kind of a rule around here, no mention of Christmas around here until after Thanksgiving. So no carols, no lights, just turkey and autumn. The biggest kid and the youngest seem to think I'm a party pooper, but too darn bad.
I've been spending loads of time sewing lately. Getting a jump start on the presents-and that is considered acceptable, I've got lots done in the homemade dept. Off to the hobby store to get the finishing touches!
In the dog world, it will be one quieter around here as Mr Trouble Bubble is heading to WI to live with a great big hairy GSD, some horses and two great people. Now it's just a waiting game to find Turner and Click new homes.
Still no vehicle, which is good and bad. Not wasting a lot of gas but makes it diffcult for the shows. So in a couple of weeks it's just Moose and I heading for his first official obedience trial. Gulp, hoping for two legs on his CD. And speaking of Moose, seems he's got some performance competition. Ms Clover and her other half Pam, made the plunge and attended their first Rally trial. YIPPEEE---she's well on her way to getting her RN and well, an I told you so for Pam. Just got jump in and get your feet wet.
Meredith tested the boys for their TDI's a few weeks ago and passed with flying colors!! Moose is also starting to visit a couple of schools and work on reading and other things as a therapy dog. David summed it up the other day when we were talking about my big red boy-he's my soul mate, heart dog and everything I could have wanted. Granted a little smaller would have been great but I'm not going to get picky now.
So from the whole gang up here at Foggy Bottom, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, a Blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
Check out the blog for current updates, should I get behind and my Admin Asst can't get me prodded enough to sit down and do it!
Here's hoping that we can share with you a couple of those red, white and blue rosettes! Remember to look us up-we love to talk. The grooming table is always laden with food, the cooler full of sodas and the conversation and company always pleasantly perfect!
